Postgraduate Training Curricula

Cancer treatment requires multidisciplinary collaboration between many specialties. In Europe, there are no uniform systems for the training of oncology specialists.

Several European societies have developed recommended core curricula for their respective disciplines including those representing the three major specialties: medical oncology, surgical oncology and radiation oncology.

The Flims Alumni Club (FAC) Workshop at the European Multidisciplinary Cancer Congress

The FAC Steering Committee launched the first ever FAC Workshop at the European Multidisciplinary Cancer Congress, Stockholm on Tuesday 27 September 2011.

In line with its mission to provide a forum to disseminate accurate information, address issues relevant to young cancer specialists, and develop a sense of community by fostering interactions among its members, this Workshop will open with a free networking lunch followed by three highly educational and informative lecture sessions and an interactive panel discussion.
