The BioMed Alliance issued a press statement just before the Christmas break on the creation of a group of experts to help the Alliance Executive Committee determine how they envisage the creation of a ‘European Council for Health Research’. It was circulated to the press on 22/12 by the European Respiratory Society, with ECCO representing the central contact point for any queries.
