ECCO - the European CanCer Organisation, a non-for-profit association with 26 employees, aims to bring together all the different disciplines and specialists involved in the research and treatment of cancer. Its ultimate aim is to ensure that all cancer patients across Europe receive the best possible care.
To support the increasing activities of our Brussels office we are offering you exciting and challenging positions (m/f), with growing responsibilities, in a European scientific environment, including competitive salaries and fringe benefits:
- Congress Programme Coordinator: focusing on our congresses, conferences and workshops (from 100 to 18.000 delegates) within the European region, and mainly responsible, in partnership with the appointed scientific chair (volunteer), for the planning, the coordination and compilation of scientific and educational programmes, supporting the identification of appropriate speakers, and liaising with experts for the fine-tuning of sessions.
You have 3 years relevant experience in an international environment, linked to the meeting industry or event organisation. You are detail-minded, stress-resistant, multi-task, service minded and proactive. Good communicator and very well organised, you are a team player, you speak English at very good level and are willing to travel (within Europe).
