European Association for Cancer Research

The European Association for Cancer Research is Europe’s professional member association for cancer researchers with over 10,000 members in over 100 countries. Membership is open to anyone working in cancer research and our members work in all areas from basic to clinical cancer research. Our mission is “The advancement of cancer research: from basic research to prevention, treatment and cure.”

We provide a wide variety of services to our community of members, organise scientific meetings and courses of the highest quality, and facilitate communication and collaboration within the cancer research community. We also set out to raise the profile of cancer research in Europe and the need for sustained political and economic support.
