Accreditation for Continuing Medical Education (CME)

The 38th Congress of the European Society of Surgical Oncology, Budapest, Hungary, 10/10/2018-12/10/2018 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 17 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found here

For security reasons, participants are requested to wear their badge at all times during the Congress. Participants who lose their badge can obtain a duplicate at the Registration Desk. Please note that all duplicate badges will incur a fee of 100 EUR per badge.

Certificate of Attendance

Certificates of Attendance will be available online. Participants will be invited to complete the evaluation form in exchange for their certificate.

The official language of the Congress is English. Simultaneous translation is not provided.

There will be a strict non-smoking policy within all areas of the facilities used by the Congress.


The Congress is open to all registered participants. For security reasons, participants are requested to wear their badges at all times.
